Oracle and Airbus Bizlab announce a bunch of Indian startups as part of their accelerator program

Meet the Indian startups which are part of Airbus Bizlab accelerator program

2017 has started with a bang for Indian startups. Bizlab, European aircraft manufacturer’s aerospace accelerator recently announced that it had selected six Indian start-ups for the second-edition of programme which will roll out in Bengaluru. Close on the heels of Airbus Bizlab, California headquartered tech giant Oracle that had announced its Oracle Startup Cloud Accelerator program earlier last year, to give a boost to Indian start-up ecosystem in India selected five Indian startups that will be mentored by Oracle experts.

Part of Oracle’s accelerator pool are Niyo Solutions, Bangalore based payroll and benefits startup; ExpertRec, search and recommendation engine for online marketplaces among other startups and Vear, a AR/VR device-agnostic platform which is used by brands to distribute their content, campaigns to end users.

Besides being a part of Oracle Network, the startups get an access to Oracle’s pool of partners, customers, investor community and no-cost access to Oracle cloud services. The program also entails more than 125 hours of mentorship from leading industry veterans — Oracle, Paytm, Inmobi, eBay among others.

Meanwhile, Airbus Bizlab accelerator program is focused on aerospace industry and some of the Bangalore-based startups that made the cut were – Earth2Orbit, reportedly India’s first private space startup founded by Dr Susmita Mohanty; Neewee that has developed an IoT-enabled secure analytics platform Athena that provides end to end Data Analytics. Another Bangalore company that made the list is Stelae Technologies which uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques for automated conversion solutions for content. Meanwhile, SYmbosim provides a design and optimization platform for designing composite structures used to manufacture aircrafts.
