Infosys the Indian IT giant and a global leader in consulting, technology and next-generation services, has come into a partnership with Trifacta, the global leader in data wrangling to provide a data wrangling solution for the Infosys Information Platform (IIP) and Infosys’s other platforms and offerings.

This partnership has culminated into funding, joint development, integrations and solution collaboration. Thus, Infosys clients will leverage Trifacta’s self-service data preparation solution for exploring and transforming data. Moreover, the integration will provide business analysts and data scientists to integrate and intuitively transform large, complex data sets within the platform for enterprise-wide visualization and analysis.

Talking about the partnership, Ritika Suri, Senior Vice President, Corporate Development, Infosys, said, “Trifacta’s market-leading technology will enable Infosys clients to bring together diverse and disparate data into more digestible form for downstream analysis. With this partnership, our clients will be able to achieve insights faster and derive greater value from their Big Data investments,”

Since, Infosys Information Platform mainly addresses big data adoption challenges, such as, inadequate accessibility of easy-to-use development tools, fragmented approaches to building data pipelines, lack of enterprise-ready open source big data analytics platforms, etc using open source; it is hardly surprising that more than 200 organizations have deployed it.

The CEO of Trifacta, Adam Wilson commented that they are thrilled to become part of IIP and collaborate with Infosys as a key go-to-market partner. He further added, “This partnership will play an important role in our global expansion, bringing the power and value of data wrangling to customers around the world.”

Indeed, this combination of Infosys Information Platform and Trifacta will address a broad range of big data use cases across a variety of business solutions, including trade data analysis, regulatory reporting, insurance modeling and predictive maintenance. In other words, intelligent data transformation and real-time analytics have combined to become a powerful platform for rapid innovation not only for the IT and analytics industry, but also for their clients.
