The growing number of meetups and tech summits for data science, analytics and artificial intelligence in Bengaluru is indicative of the city’s thriving emerging tech community. With the technology evolving each day, avenues like meetups are used by a large number of techies to exchange ideas and gain new industry perspective.
Analytics India Magazine takes a look at 10 most popular meetup groups for AI and data science enthusiasts in Bengaluru and what they offer through their groups:
ReactJS Bangalore: This group is the go-to place for React JS enthusiasts who wish to know more about the react ecosystem. This group which has 7,939 members, holds React Meetups and React Native, its workshops on a regular basis at different locations within Bengaluru. In the past, the group has organised meetups and workshops on topics such as GraphQL, virtual reality, among other topics.

Data Science India Meetup: This group is for anyone who is interested in data science, machine learning or deep learning and discusses recent research papers, novel tools and techniques, Kaggle competitions, or anything related to data science. Based in Bengaluru, it is a public group with 3,206 members ranging from students to industry practitioners who wish to promote the data science community in India. Recently, the group met at Google India to have a discussion on data augmentation for deep learning.
Upcoming event: Deep learning with PyTorch: Zero To GANs – Workshop (Beginner) will cover topics like the basics of Deep Learning, building neural networks with PyTorch, CNNs, RNNs, NLP, GANs etc. The meetup will be held on February 23 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM
Kubernetes & Openshift India Community: The group is dedicated exclusively for discussion on Openshift and Kubernetes.
