Japanese tech major Hitachi Ltd on November 9 introduced Hitachi Vantara in India which is set to deliver data-driven solutions for commercial and industrial enterprises.
The new firm will help enterprises by bringing new data-driven solutions and services to the market.
Toshiaki Higashihara, President and CEO of Hitachi Ltd, in a statement:

Hitachi Vantara is set to unify the operations of Hitachi Data Systems, Hitachi Insight Group, and Pentaho into a single integrated business.
“The launch of Hitachi Vantara is an important step to being the complete data solutions provider, enabling customers to digitally transform their business,” said Vivekanand Venugopal, Vice President and General Manager-India, Hitachi Vantara. “Today customers in India understand that data is the currency of the future, making it the greatest asset of any organisation. Digital India, Smart Cities Initiative, Make in India will be the biggest enablers of analytics, internet of things and artificial intelligence over the next couple of years. Meanwhile, Lumada — Hitachi’s IoT platform — is now available as a standalone and commercial software offering.
